Verdant Biogas offers a wide range of sizes that are appropriate for different types of manure which can accommodate the needs of the majority of smallholder farmers. The bio-digester is connected to the stable which means that the bio-digester is fed as part of the stable cleaning routine.

After installation of the bio-digester all manure is stored inside the bio-digester. This directly improves sanitation at the farmsite. It eliminates manure related odor and reduces the presence of mosquitoes and rodents.

Clean, reliable and free fuel

Within two weeks after installation and first feeding of the bio-digester you will have sufficient biogas for all your cooking needs. If you are currently cooking on fuelwood you will save significant time and reduce exposure to harmful toxic smoke. If you replace LPG gas you will reduce your monthly energy expenditures.

Free organic fertilizer

The bio-slurry that comes out of your bio-digester can be directly applied to water your plants or to produce bio-slurry enriched compost. After the digestion process nutrients in the fertilizer are more accessible to plants, which can help to significantly increase your agricultural yields. In the medium term it can also improve the soil fertility. Farmers that apply bio-slurry report significant savings on expenditures related to chemical fertilizer and pesticides.
