Reduced Green house Gas emissions

Bio-digesters help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. By using the bio-digester you help to reduce around 5 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions and thereby contribute to reducing climate change. Verdant Biogas will measure the emission reductions related to the usage of your bio-digester. Verdant Biogas will monitor these emissions, thereby creating voluntary carbon emission certificates which will be sold. This enables us to provide a significant discount on the retail price of the bio-digester. This means that we can provide the product to you at an affordable price.

Reduced groundwater pollution

Discharging manure into the environment in the medium term will result in local groundwater pollution. Verdant Biogas will train you on how to effectively use the bio-slurry, thereby not only resulting in savings on chemical fertilizers and higher yields but also helps to prevent local groundwater pollution.

Reduced reliance on imported fuels and fertilizers

Chemical fertilizers and pesticides are produced from fossil fuels. This creates a dependency on countries that are producing these products. Bio-slurry usage can strongly reduce the need to use both, thereby reducing dependency on other countries and negatively affecting the trade balance. It furthermore contributes to local circularity.

Increased local employment

Verdant Biogas works through the local private sector. This results in job creation in relation to the construction and installation of the bio-digesters.
